What is St. Pete Heights?

St. Pete Heights is a diverse, inclusive and welcoming neighborhood in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our neighborhood association was founded in 2017 by a group of dedicated neighbor volunteers with the goal of fostering a sense of community and beautifying the place we call home. Some of the achievements of the association include:

• Defining our boundaries and working with the city to rename the neighborhood St. Pete Heights in 2017.
• Working with renowned local artist Leo Gomez, who specializes in hand lettering and murals, to create custom branding for our neighborhood.
• Being awarded two Neighborhood Partnership Grants by the city for the creation of original branding and one-of-a-kind identity signs.
• Holding social gatherings such as picnics, holiday parties, and running in the St. Pete Pride 5K race to promote neighborliness and fun.
• Working with city officials to modify our neighborhood traffic plan and improve pedestrian and bicycle safety.
• Organizing neighborhood Care Days to keep the streets and alleys clean and attractive.
• Establishing ties with the St. Petersburg Police Department and our community resource officer to enhance safety and security.
